Erin Burns

Erin is a skilled physiotherapist and osteopath who is dedicated to helping athletes and individuals of all ages recover from orthopaedic injuries and optimize their physical performance. With a unique approach that blends both disciplines, Erin offers a comprehensive range of treatments that address the root cause of injuries, rather than just treating the symptoms.

Erin graduated from McGill University in 2009 with a degree in Physiotherapy. She pursued further education and graduated from College d'Etudes Osteopathiques in 2018, becoming a licensed osteopath. This combination of knowledge has allowed Erin to develop a unique approach to treating orthopaedic injuries, using both manual techniques and exercise therapy to help patients recover quickly and prevent future injuries.

As a practitioner, Erin has experience treating all types of orthopaedic injuries, but has developed a special expertise in running injuries, including gait analysis and running form correction. Erin also provides dry needling treatments to help alleviate muscle pain and tension, as well as TMJ treatments to help patients who suffer from jaw pain and tension headaches.

Beyond Erin's professional experience, she is also a top-ranking triathlete who competes in sprint, Olympic, and Half Ironman distance events. Erin is also competitive on the Quebec running circuit, and has a passion for mountain biking, downhill and cross country skiing, windsurfing, and even plays the violin. Erin's deep understanding of the demands of high-performance sports and a keen appreciation for the joy of physical activity makes Erin a sought-after practitioner and trusted advisor to athletes of all levels.
